Tips For Starting A Business.

1. Before you start, you will need a preliminary preparation (PLAN) to ascertain if your business idea will fail or pass. Here are some things to consider:

  • What are you passionate about?  You can turn your passion to a business idea.
  • Are there markets for this idea of yours?
  • Are people searching for it online?
  • How much will it cost you to begin
  • What do you need to succeed? i.e. your capacity and capability
  • Who are your competitors and what are they doing to succeed?

2. Shout about your new business. Do people know about your new-found love? By keeping quiet about it will not help you or the business. Take advantage of any free online resource, PR, Social Media marketing, to bring your idea into the open.

3. Maintain a steady growth strategy.

  • Make sure that you are continuously improving your activities.
  • Split-test your ideas and know which works and which doesn’t.
  • Scale-up the ideas that work
  • Pay attention to your customers needs.
  • Monitor your performance and note where improvement is needed.
